Worker behaviour is often seen to be critical to performance and it is difficult to argue otherwise. The issue is, however, on what influences worker choice of behaviour. Workers are often subject to processes designed by those at the blunt end of the organisation – these can be insensitive to the sharp end reality and can serve to disengage. The problem is not safety, or environment or quality, but how these are managed. We help you focus on those things that serve to disengage. Worker engagement and behaviour are often the products of something else! Once this has been corrected, then and only then does it make sense to focus directly on worker behaviour.
